Emergency aid of up to 30,000 RON for residents affected by the incident in Galați

The Executive has adopted an emergency ordinance under which persons affected by the incident in Galați will receive substantial financial assistance. The government support targets both families and individuals who have temporarily or permanently lost their homes.

The amount of aid will vary depending on the extent of damage to each property. The maximum sum of 30,000 RON will be granted in the most severe cases, where homes have been completely compromised and require major repairs or permanent relocation.

For evacuated persons in need of immediate support, the Government has allocated 1,000 RON per person to cover essential expenses. This sum will help meet the costs of temporary accommodation, food, and other urgent needs.

The measure supports all affected residents, including elderly people who find themselves in a particularly vulnerable position following this incident. Older adults may face additional difficulties in adapting to new living conditions and managing the crisis situation.
