What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (login, language, etc.) over time so you don't have to re-enter them on every visit.
Beyond strictly necessary technical cookies, we use — only with your consent — analytics tools that help us understand how the site is used and improve it.
Cookie categories
For clarity, we organise cookies into four categories:
- Strictly necessary — authentication, session, language, CSRF protection. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4. Used to understand aggregate traffic and behaviour. Data is anonymised.
- Marketing — Google Tag Manager for paid advertising campaigns (only if we run ads).
- Preferences — remember your choices (language, comparator, last search) between visits.
Managing your consent
On your first visit we show a banner with three options: Accept all, Necessary only, or Customise. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 12 months.
You can change your preferences anytime by clicking 'Cookie settings' in the site footer. If we update our tools, we'll also ask again.
How we block tracking without consent
External scripts (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) are NOT loaded in your browser until you grant the relevant consent. We re-check on every page load based on your locally stored preferences.
