How Can You Help?
Companionship & Conversation
Visit older adults and offer them companionship. Many residents receive no visitors, and the suffering caused by loneliness is very real.
Recreational Activities
Organise activities such as music, reading, board games, arts and crafts, and gardening.
Transport & Escorting
Assist with transport to medical appointments, shopping trips, or outdoor walks.
Digital Literacy
Teach older adults to use a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop so they can stay connected with their families.
Practical Assistance
Support with cleaning, organising, and minor repairs in care homes that need it.
Emotional Support
Be present during difficult moments: bereavement, settling into a care home, or spending holidays away from family.
