About the job
A social worker (COR code 263501) assesses beneficiaries' social needs, draws up the individual assistance plan and mediates the relationship with the family. Authorised residential centres are legally required to have a social worker. The profession requires registration in the National Register of Social Workers (CNASR).
Responsibilities
- Assessing social needs and drawing up the individual assistance plan (PIA)
- Maintaining the relationship with the family, mediation and regular communication
- Handling admission, transfer or decease files
- Monitoring beneficiaries' rights and reporting abuse
- Working with the nurse, psychologist and interdisciplinary team
- Facilitating access to social benefits (aid, allowances, pensions)
- Writing case reports and periodic assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work (4 years, accredited programme)
- CNASR registration and practice attestation + personal stamp
- Knowledge of the legislation (Law 292/2011, GD 978/2015)
- Preferred: experience in social services for the elderly
