Frequently asked questions
- Is a psychologist mandatory in every care home?
- The minimum quality standards (GD 978/2015) include a psychologist among specialist staff. Smaller centres may subcontract psychological services (part-time / service contract).
- How long does the autonomous-level CPR attestation take?
- At least 1 year of supervision (40 hours) after the master's, plus the CPR file (clinical-psychology committee). Processing can take 1–3 months.
- Can an educational psychologist work in a care home?
- CPR specialisations are distinct. Working in care homes requires a clinical-psychology or psychological-counselling attestation, not educational psychology.
