Emergency Aid of 1.7 Million RON for Families in Difficult Situations

The Executive has decided to grant a substantial emergency aid package, worth 1,723,000 RON, to support 397 families and individuals facing difficult circumstances.

The measure primarily targets people affected by unforeseen events such as devastating fires, extreme weather conditions, or serious accidents. Support is also extended to those dealing with serious medical conditions that have undermined their ability to meet their daily needs.

Particular emphasis is placed on preventing social exclusion, with the aid also directed at vulnerable individuals at risk of being left without means of subsistence. This category frequently includes elderly people on low pensions who have no other financial resources or family support.

The allocated sum represents an average of approximately 4,340 RON per beneficiary; however, distribution is determined by the severity of each family's situation and the specific needs identified by local social services.

For older people affected by such crisis situations, this aid can mean the difference between survival and social marginalisation, providing an essential safety net during times of extreme vulnerability.
