A special initiative for blood donors
In a first for the programme, the June edition includes two tranches dedicated to blood donors, launched in the context of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June. These investors benefit from preferential terms and higher interest rates.
The first special tranche, a RON-denominated 2-year issue, offers an interest rate of 7.35% with a minimum threshold reduced to just 500 RON (compared to the standard 5,000 RON), subject to a ceiling of 100,000 RON. The second tranche, a euro-denominated 10-year issue, carries an interest rate of 6.80% with a minimum threshold of just 100 euros (compared to 1,000 euros), with a ceiling of 20,000 euros.
Benefits and flexibility for investors
All FIDELIS investors benefit from tax-free income and the option to sell their securities before maturity, receiving interest accrued for the holding period. To access the special tranches, blood donors must provide proof of having donated blood on or after 1 January 2026.
The nominal value remains 100 RON/euros per security, whilst the standard minimum thresholds are 5,000 RON and 1,000 euros for the regular tranches. This edition represents a valuable opportunity for seniors wishing to make the most of their savings in a safe and advantageous manner.
