Lidl recalls a protein pudding contaminated with Bacillus cereus bacteria
ANSVSA has announced the recall from Lidl stores of Milbona chocolate protein pudding, due to the presence of the *Bacillus cereus* bacterium, which can cause digestive problems.

The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) announced via a Facebook post that the Lidl supermarket chain has decided to withdraw from sale and recall from customers a batch of protein pudding, after the bacterium Bacillus cereus was detected in the product, which can cause digestive system problems.
The affected product is Milbona Chocolate Flavour Protein Pudding, in a 200-gram pack, with a best-before date of 14 September 2026. It is manufactured by Fude + Serrahn Milchprodukte GmbH & Co. KG.
What those who have purchased the product should do
ANSVSA advises anyone who already has this product at home not to consume it. The pudding can be returned to any Lidl store, where a full refund will be issued, even if the customer no longer has their receipt.
