According to the source, the increase will not offset the price rises accumulated over the past two years, and pensioners' incomes will remain below the value of the consumption basket.
The 7% indexation scenario
- Minimum pension: 1,281 RON + 89.67 RON = 1,371 RON
- Pension of 2,000 RON: + 140 RON = 2,140 RON
- Pension of 3,500 RON: + 245 RON = 3,745 RON
The 10% indexation scenario
- Minimum pension: 1,281 RON + 128 RON = 1,409 RON
- Pension of 2,000 RON: + 200 RON = 2,200 RON
- Pension of 3,500 RON: + 350 RON = 3,850 RON
