The new platform, called "E-Sănătatea Mea", will be directly accessible to patients and will include medical history, issued prescriptions, referral letters, and information about reimbursed medical services. In practice, documents that patients currently receive in paper form would become available online, and could be downloaded whenever needed.
According to the head of the National Health Insurance House, the new system has been designed to be easy for patients to use.
